THE FATHERHOOD GAMES
Saturday June 17, 2017
The Fontanel Mansion
The Fatherhood Games is an exciting, action-packed, half-day event held annually on the Saturday morning before Father’s Day on the beautiful grounds of the majestic Fontanel Mansion in Nashville, TN. There’s lots of family-friendly, competitive games and activities — great fun for dads, moms, kids, grandparents, family and friends, ages 1 to 101.
We start at 7 AM with an optional, chip-timed, USTAF-measured, 5K wooded trail race (run or walk), and then proceed with the games which can be played on teams or individually. The event is sponsored by the Family Foundation Fund, a non-profit organization based out of Nashville whose mission is to nurture young men and develop them into successful, Christ-centered manhood and inspire and equip them to be fathers that impact the destiny of future generations.
The Fatherhood Games is the perfect Father’s Day gift and quite possibly a new Father’s Day weekend family tradition. So get your game on, register today and join us to celebrate fatherhood while helping to raise support for boys whose fathers are absent from their lives. You’ll have fun, you’ll make some great memories and most importantly, you’ll make a difference! Click here to see some of the fun we had last year.

The Young Messiah – Movie Premiere – March 10, 2016
The Secret Handshake is a comedy/drama, family-friendly film starring Kevin Sorbo and Amy Grant. The Red Carpet World Premier was held at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville, TN on Wednesday evening, May 27, 2015. Family Foundation Fund was invited to attend and to have a table display in the lobby.
This movie is a wonderful, family comedy of men and boys learning together what it takes to be a man on a journey from Suburbia to the Deep Dark Woods and back again with adventure, laughter, and maybe even a tear or two. The values expressed in this move are in keeping with those of Family Foundation Fund mission, “fathers impart destiny”. We encourage you to see it at your local theater.
On January 6, 2015, Family Foundation Fund presented “A Nashville Evening With Dr. Ben & Candy Carson” at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. The Carsons shared how the family is the foundation of our nation and gave the example of American families like the Vanderbilts and Rockefellers who invested in our nation and ultimately empowered families and birthed an infrastructure that propelled us forward.
